Happy Wednesday! Tomorrow I’m hitting the road for Dallas, just for a couple of nights to catch up with some friends. I’m actually staying in a hotel this time, mostly because I wanted to enjoy one last pool day before my fall travel schedule gets into full swing! I leave for New York on Monday, which I’ve already packed for, then at the end of the month I’m heading to Santa Barbara for Jessica’s bachelorette weekend. Just a couple days after I return from that trip, it’s back to New York for two weeks! Then I fly back to Austin for a week for my mom’s birthday, Chicago for Jessica’s wedding, and then I’ll be in New York until Thanksgiving. While I’m looking forward to all of these fun plans, I bet by the time October 1st rolls around I’ll be happy to be done with all of the flights!

While I don’t have any beach trips in my future, I’m feeling very inspired by these rich pre-fall colors for a warm weather vacay – perfect for a high summer getaway! Especially this sexy shimmery bikini + matching oversized shirt… chic, chic, chic! All that’s missing is an oversized straw hat.
